.f/  %.pdi As a result of the Aoplicant acceding to the NRC's soll boring requests, I w!!I hereby drop my contention number 5.

Also, as I was unsuccessful in my discovery attempts to obtcin documents "concerning and leading up to C.P.s decision to appeal the NRC recuests for additional borings' (12/4/80),as allowed by the 10/24/80 Poard ruling (p.6), and because the boring reouest has now been met, I will drop contention 2e.

In contention 3, in the last clause of the first sentence, when referring to reasonable assurances on OA given in cast cases (ALAB 100, ALAB106, and LBP 74-71), I made a mistake in using ALAE 100 as an example. It should be(ALAB 147, ALAB IO6, and LBP 74-71).
