This refers to the telephone conversation between you and Mr. D. J. Sreniawski of tais office on June 4, 1981, regarding your license requirement to assay each radiopharmaceutical dose prior to administering it to a patient.

With regard to this matter, we understand that you have taken or will undertake the following actions:

1.

As of June 4, 1981, assay the amount of radiopharmaceutical for each dose prior to adcinistration to a patient.

2.

Perform the assay in item 1 on the dose calibrator possessed by Oakland Internist Association, NRC License No. 21-15652-01, until you obtain a properly calibrated instrument at your facility.

If your understanding of the above is not correct, please contact this office by telephone immediately.
