SUBJECT:
STATE LIAISON OFFICER CONFERENCE - CHICAGO. IL Confir=ing our subject telephone conversation of June 2,1981, a block of 30 rooms has been reserved for September 22 and 23, 1981 at the Americana Congress Hotel (formerly Pick-Congress) 520 South Michigan Aver.se, Chicago, reservation number 312/427-3800. Each participant shou.d make his/her own reservation two weeks before the conference, state that they are attending the SRC meeting, and are entitled to the U.S. Government rate of $35.00 per night. The conference will be conducted in the Washington Room which will acco=modate 45-50 people at a cost of S50.00 per day.
Transportation from O' Hare Airport to the hotel is available from the Continental Air Transport Bus Company. Buses depart from the O' Hare Airport baggage area (lower level) every twenty (20) minutes between 7:30 a.=. and 11:30 p.m. and arrive at the Americana approximately one hour later, for S5.45 one-way or $10.00 round trip. Buses leave from the Americana every twenty (20) minutes from 5:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and every thirty (30) minutes from 5:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
