The attached Georgia Power Company internal memo describes organization changes which were announced at our Board of Directors meeting on May 20, 1981.
Please note that Mr. J. T. Beckham, Jr. has assumed my former duties and that all correspondence regarding Plant Hatch should now be addressed to him as follows:

l R. J. Kelly Se~.or V>ce Dresroent the sout'em ewctnc system Power Geae<a:>on May 20, 1981 EXECUTIVE OFFICERS DIVISION VICE PRESIDENTS GENERAL OFFICE DEPARTMENT HEADS The Georgia Power Company Board of Directors at its regular meeting on May 20,1981, took the following actions:
Mr. R. E. Conway was elected Senior Vice President -
Engineering, Construction, and Project Management.
Mr. G. F. Head was elected Senior Vice President -
Power Generation.
Mr. W. A. Widner was elected Vice President and General s
Manager - Fossil and Hydro Generation.
Mr. J. T. Beckham, Jr. was elected Vice President -
Nuclear Generation.
As a result of this action, the following organizational changes are made in the Power Supply Organization, effective May 20, 1981:
Mr. Conway will direct the Power Supply Engineering and Services Organization, the Generating Plant Construction Organization, the Major Project Management activities, and will report to me.
Mr. Head will direct the Power Generation Organization, and will report to me.
Mr. W. A. Widner will manage the Fossil and Hydro Generating Plants and will report to Mr. G. F. Head. He will be deputy to Mr. Head, and act for Mr. Head in his absence.
Mr. J. T. Beckham, Jr. will manage the Nuclear Generating Plants, and will report to Mr. Head.
Mr. David M. Ratcliffe is promoted to General Manager Fuel Services, and will report to me.
All of these gentlemen are well known throughout the Company, and I am sure that they can count on your cooperation as they assume their new duties.
