Enclosures (1) through (3) have been revised to reflect the resolution of comments received from J D Kane (NRR-HGEB), R 3 Landsman (Region III) and H Singh (Army Corps of Engineers) on June 3 and 5, 1981. It is our understanding that all comments have been received and resolved.

l We believe that the previous information supplied to you on May 28, April 24 and March 23, 1981 combined with the additional information attached to this letter, resulting from our recent discussions with the Staff and Region III personnel, should be sufficient so that you can concur with our request to l proceed with the installation of the backup interceptor wells.

The subcontractor which will be installing the 20 backup interceptor wells has begun mobilization of his resources. Actual work, however will not begin until your formal concurrence to the subject specification is received. In light of this, your expeditious approval would be most appreciated.
