Dear Congressman Goodling; N/
We resent the' media push to re-sell the " merits" of nuclear power.
It may eroduce energy at less ccst, but the building, fueling, waste problems, etc. are hidden costs we've been paying for.
No way does that add up to an affordable alternative, not mentiening the risks.
We are against the re-opening of TMI, in any capacity.
Nuclear cur best eccnomic insurance is a power is unsafe at any ccst safe environment.
We will not risk cur future, the earth & its natural resources, fer any temporary ccr veni ence...we are willing to conserve, even deal with rationed electricity, to prevent the re-opening of this huge mistake.
As taxpayers, property-owners, natives ;
we are ready to take 'our skills, investments, and com.ittments to a different area where the legislators and local businesses, as well as individuals, are making safe alternatives work, where values remain intact. It is being done in places like Davis, Calif., Soldier's Grove, Wisconsin,
aros of Vermont, Massachusetts,
- ennessee, and N ew Mexico.
Th er e's no excuse to deny Fernsylvania a safe future.
N.e,arwhile, we will centinue to vote against any defenders of nuclear power.
