MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO RESPOND TO PCCI MOTION TO COMPEL PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. $ 2.711 (1980), General Electric Company (GE) hereby moves for an extension of time in which to respond to the Motion to Compel the Production of Documents filed by the Porter County Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America, Inc.; Concerned Citizens Against Bailly Nuclear Site; Businessmen for the Public Interest, Inc.; Janes E. Newman; and Mildred Warner (PCCI) in this proceeding.

In support of this Motion, GE states as follows:

Counsel for GE involved in the production of documents in this proceeding are currently actively involved in a contested proceeding before the NRC. This proceeding will run continuously l l

through June 12, 1981, and counsel for GE will be unavailable until then. Therefore, goed cause exists to extend the time for GE to respond to 2CCI's Motion to Compel the Production of Documents up to and including June 12, 1981, p fd $
