Dear Mr. Youngblood:

The operation of the Wolf Creek nuclear generating plant located in the vicinity of Burlington, Kansas will not affect Kansas' cultural resources.

Mitigation of any adverse effects, as defined in 36 C.F.R. 800, to archeological resources at the site and railroad spur has been completed. The transmission line routes have been plannned to be routed around archeological sites encountered in their corridors. No historic sites or buildings will be affected by the construction or operation.

This office has no objection to granting the operating license.
