Arkansas Nuclear One - Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-313 and 50-368 License Nos. DPR-5.1 and NPF-6 AN0 Training Program (File: 0483,2-0483)
Gentlemen:
In my letter to you dated August 13, 1980, detailing AP&L's training comitment, I stated that AP&L would infonn Region IV Management of circumstances that pose a threat to meeting any of the comitments addressed in the letter.
The purpose of this letter is to clarify a statement in the August 13, 1980 letter concerning the completion of training curriculum development based on the Position Task Analysis. On page 2 of the letter I stated that curriculum development from the Position Task Analysis Program should be completed in the first half of 1981. The positions intended to be covered by this statement were portions of the ANO Operating organi-zation made up of craft Employees, i r.. operators, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, I&C personnel, health physics technicians, chemists, and radiochemists. The lesson plans for these groups are presently being developed utilizing Position Task Analysis information and will be com-pleted by June 30, 1981. The Position Task Analysis for the other Arkansas Nuclear One positions and the General Office personnel with nuclear responsibilities have been completed; however, the curriculum development for these groups will not be completed by June 30, 1981.
The curriculum development for this group consisting of Administrative Services personnel, supervisors and the non-bargaining professional technical staff will be dane following the development work presently o\\
in progress for the operating organization. We expect this total effort h0 h

Mr. K. V. Seyf-it, Director May 8, 1981 to be completed by July 1,1982. This action is necessary to help ensure that the training material being developed will be of high quality and our efforts are not diluted too greatly by attempting to do too much of the development work at one time.
I hope this letter clarifies this point to your satisfaction.
If you have any questions related to this matter, please advise.
