License R-47, docket 50-99

Dear Mr. Miller:

The Lynchburg Research Center wishes to proceed with plans to dismantle the Lynchburg Pool Reactor for termination of the referenced license in accor-dance w1th 10 CFR 50.82.

I request an early meeting with the appropriate members of your staff to dis-cuss any regulatory requirements that pertain to this effort. I feel that it would be of value to have the meeting at the Lynchburg Research Center. This would afford your staff members an opportunity to view the facility first hand and discuss the requirements with the LRC staff.

If I can be of any assistance to you in this effort, please don't hesitate to call me.

Yours very truly, Arne F. Olsen Sr. License Administrator AF0:ccf OI06090} $
