I am very grateful to receive your letter.

I heartily express my thanks and respects for your kind response to my excessive request.

These detailed data you sent to me will be very helpful for my task.

As I wrote in my first letter the final estimate of Met.

7 Ed. Company, 1.0x10 Ci of noble gases released, which is described in detail in TDR-TMI-ll6 involves many errors.

The most important error is found in Table 4-1 showing the results of-hourly release rates together with their source data.

The values in the last five columns of this table systematically deviate from the relative contents of noble gases from which the estimate gtarted.

If this error is corrected the above 1.0x10 Ci, will receive a considerable change.

value, The preliminary estimate, 1.3x107 Ci, made by Dr. Barrett' may be also incorrect due to miscalculation.

I think the correct value should be 1.03x107 Ci.

I I would appreciate NRC's comments on these problems.
