South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Projected Plant Completion Date This letter is in response to your letter of May 29, 1981, that requested a confirmation or change of our construction completion date for the South Texas Project in order to allow proper resource allocation at the NRC.
The schedule for South Texas Project is currently being evaluated and will be reforecasted, but the results of this reforecast will not be available until September, 1981.
Thus, the dato of September, 1983 for " Applicant Construction Completion" in Table 2 of your letter is the most current estimate.
We expect there will be some delay in the construction completion date, but the amount of the delay will not be known until the reforecast is completed. We will contact the Licensing Manager regarding the schedule evaluation as it progresses.
