APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION C&H Electronics, Inc.
License No. 04-17260-01E 11454 Long Beach Blvd.,
Lynwood, California 90262 As a result of the inspection conducted on March 23, 1981, and in accordance with the Interim Enforcement Policy, 45 FR 66754 (October 7,1980), the following violation was identified:
A.
10 CFR 32.29(c) requires that an annual report must be filed with the Director of Nuclear Mater al Safety and Safeguards, U. S. Nuclear Regu-i latory Commission, Washington, D. C. 20555, with a copy to the NRC Region V office, which shall include the following information on products trans-ferred to other persons for use under 10 CFR 30.20:
(1) A description or identification of the type of each product; (2) for each radionuclide in each type of product, the total quantity of radionuclide and (3) the number of units of each type of product during the reporting period. The report shall cover the year ending June 30, and shall be filed within 30 days thereafter.
(1) Contrary to this requirement, at the time of the inspection, the annual report for the year ending June 30, 1980, had not been filed with the Director of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards and the Region V office.
This item constitutes a Severity Level VI violation (Supplement VII).
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, C & H Electronics, Inc., is hereby required to submit to this office within twenty-five days of the date of this Notice, a written statement or explanation in reply, including: (1) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; (2) corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further items of noncompliance; and (3) the date when full compliance will be achieved.

Radioactive In compliance with 10 CFR 30 regarding Smoke Detector Distribution containing material. In the reporting perion from June 30 1979 to June 30 1980, no Snoke Detectors were sold containing Radioactive caterial.
This report was not filed in time, for we did not know, that even if we did not have any Sr.oke Detector sales containing Radioactive natcrial we have to file an anual report ind! iting i that no sales have been nade.
Now that we have been made aware of this requirement, we will file an anual report indicating the nunber of saics or no sales.
