Dear Mrs. Vacca:
As per our phone conversation last week, I am submitting the information needed to reapply for a license to partic, ate in a research study involving the implantation of Coratomic C-101 Isotopic Powered Pacemakers. The Bryn Mawr Hospital is licensed for a maximum of 20 pacemakers in stock. There are two pacemakers implanted.
Dr. Kirkley Williams feels that we should maintain the license at 20 per year.
The physicians responsible for the study will remain the same. These are:
Kirkley R. Williams, M.D.
Louis F. Plzak, M.D.
F. Thomas Hopkins, M.D.
Frank S. Harrison, M.D.
The pacemaker coordinator will be changed to Kitty McQuaid, R.N., Operating Room Supervisor. The hospital administrator will be Darrell J. Bell.
