k/g f,
Dear Mr. Clark:
As requested by your letter of November 4,1980 and as agreed to in my letter of December 10, 1980, submitted herewith is material which will constitute an amendment for the FSAR. This amendment will incorporate a description of the modified Control-Auxiliary-Fuel Building Complex (Complex), the analytical methods and acceptance criteria for the modi-fled Complex, and appropriate commitments relative to the design and analysis of the Complex. Due to the protracted (and ongoing) NRC Staff Review of criteria submitted on October 23, 1980, the attached amendment does not include masonry wall design criteria for out-of plane loads.
Such criteria will however be incorporated in the FSAR update in 1982.
The attached material will be incorporated into the Trojan FSAR by July 1, 1981. At that time you will be able to revise Technical Speci-fication 5.7.2.1 to require that the Complex be designed and maintained to the design provisions contained in FSAR Sections 3.7 and 3.8 as revised through Amendment 34.
Sincerely, e
^^ 1 J
