Dear Mr. MacDonald:
On Decembe ' 3,1980, the Vailecitos Nuclear Center (VNC) was authorized to use Package No. USA /9136/AF (the Models GE-9136-GI, GE-9136-G2, and GE-9136-G3 ). This authorization expires on June 30, 1981.
As you are aware, these containers are being used to transfer equipment from VNC to a Department of Energy (D0E) facility. Unfortunately, dua to some delays encountered by DOE, all of the pbnned shipments cannot be made by the June 30 date.. VNC, therefore, raquests that the authori-zation be extended to June 30, 1982.
Enclosed is a check for $150.00 for payment o' the extension fee.
