Dear Mr. Grier:

'8*h NRC IE BULLETIN NO. 80-21

VALVE YOKES SUPPLIED BY 4

MALCOLM FOUNDRY COMPANY, INC.

NO. 1 AND 2 UNITS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION On April 13, 1981, PSE&G reported to the NRC that Bechtel Power Cceporation indicated that all but one supplier confirmed that no valve parts were supplied by Malcolm Foundry.

PSE&G indicated in that correspondence the course of action undertaken to assure control of material to be supplied by Colt Industries.

PSE&G has rescinded the corrective measures outlined in the April 13, 1981, response to the NRC as it has now been re-ported by Bechtel that no vendors, Jecluding the NSSS sup-plier, will be using valve parts se lied by Malcolm Foundry.

Should any additional information be desired, we will be pleased to discuss it with you.

Very truly yours, N
