Dear Mr. Stolz:

This letter is to document a partial response to NUREG-0737, Clarification f

I,TMI Action Plan Requirements, for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit 1 (DB-1).

Item III D.3.4 deals with Control Room Habitability Study.

The analysis shows that no substance stored on or offsite nor shipped on State Highway Route 2, a medium to heavily traveled highway adjacent to the westerly site boundary, will cause unacceptable hazards in the control room for a catastrophic failure of the storage or shipping container.

Very truly yours, C2 1
