HARTSVILLE AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS - REPORTABLE DEFICIENCY -
FAILURE BY ITT ORINNELL TO USE-PROPER TESTING METHODS - HTRD 50-518/81-08, -519, -520, -521/81 PBRD-50-653/81-10 The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-OIE, Region II, Inspector Pete Taylor en March 4, 1081 as NCR-7.
The first interim report was submitted on April 3, 1981.
In coe:pliance with paragraph 50.55(e) of 10 CFR Part 50, this letter constitutes the second interim report on the subject deficiency.
TVA ITT Grinnell is still in the process of evaluating this deficiency.
anticipates transmitting the firial report on or before August 11,'1981.
