.This letter constitutes a final report regarding the failure of the water box casing on the 16 cylinder diesel engine oil cooler on Diesel Generator 10G01KC.
Our letter, 'QA 1391 of January 30, 1981, outlined the steps which would be taken in testing the repaired oil cooler. These steps have now been taken'and the diesel generator has successfully completed an eight (8) hour load test, conducted March 20, 1981. Samples of cooling water and lubricating oil taken before and after the load test showed no evidence of oil or water contamination.
We now consider this 50.55(e) item completed.
