-Mr. Parr.and Mr.:Wermeil-confirmed our interpretation of section B.3-
'of BTP-APCSB 3.1,- to the ef fect that breaks in non-safety,. non-seismic piping are not required to be postulated concurrent' with a break in
. safety-related-piping. Specifically, a break in the Perry non-safety rain steam er feedwater lines is not required to be: postulated con--
-currently with a'LOCA.
With specific reference to Ferry and cencern for the Nil-F020 main steam gate valves and MSIV-leakage control-svstem. Mr. Vermeil stated that the APCSB has accepted statements of the form "... this system is required only for loss-of-coolant accidents, and protection from these breaks outside containment is, i.
therefore, not required."
