The Naval Coastal Systems Center was issued Nuclear Regulatory
' Asgn Byproduct Material License No. 09-17121-02 on 25 September 1979.
In accord-ance with 10 CFR 71.12(b)(1)(iii), it is requested that this Command be registered as a user of the Nuclear Regulatory Comissicn Certificate of Compliance No. 4888, issued to Teledyne Energy Systems, Identification No.
USA /4888/B.

The Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTGs) are to be removed from operation on Stage I, transported to NCSC for temporary storage, with subse-quent transfer to another properly licensed agency.
3.
Enclosure (1), a description of the quality assurance program required by 10 CFR 71.51, is fonurded for your approval.
4.
Your prcept action en these matters will be greatly appreciated as present operations require the RTGs to be removed from Stage I at the earliest possible date.
