NRC Inspection of Building 305, Camp Parks This letter refers to the special safety inspection conducted by Messrs.

P. R. Zurakowski, H. E. Book, J. F. Pang and G. P. Perez of this office on March 11-13 and April 16, 1981 at Building 305, Camp Farks where materials have been used under NRC Licenses SNM 1471 and 04-00650-07.

No items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified within the scope of this inspection.

This inspection consisted of a confirmatory radiological survey performed relative to the decontamination of the Camp Parks Facility for releae for unrestricted use.

The areas examined and the results of the survey are described in the enclosed inspec : ion raport. Based upon the results of this survey, it was determined that the contamination levels within the interior of Building 305 and on the surrounding grounds were within the NRC guidelines for release of the facility for unrestricted use.

A copy of the enclosed inspection report will be sent to our headquarters licensing staff for consideration in the tennination of your two licenses and the return of the Camp Parks facility to unrestricted use.
