PROPOSED. IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTIES - $1,000 This is to inform the Commission that a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties in the amount of One Thousand Dollars will be issued on or abcut June 1,1981, to Grandview Hospital.
This action is based on alleged items of non-compliance involving failure to administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a manner approved by the manufacturer and the NRC.
Other items of noncompliance not related to the primary problem were also found. The nature and significance of those other items was such that civil penalties are not warranted.
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action.
The schedule of issuance and notification is:

The licensee has 30 days from the date of the Notice in which to respond.
Following NRC staff evaluation of the response, the civil penalties may be remitted, mitigated or imposed by Order.
