. DOCKET NUMBERS 50-483 AND 50-486 CALLAWAY PLANT, UNITS 1-& 2 On Monday, April 27, 1981, Mr. Dinesh Gupta met with Union Electric at the Callaway Site.
The purpose of the meeting was to inspect the UHS Retention Pond and to obtain clarifications to the answers to the questions responded to in our letter ULNRC-344 dated April 3, 1981.
A list of attendees is attached.
As a result of the meeting, the following actions were agreed to:
1.
UE will submit to NRC one copy of two Dames & Moore (D&M) reports on the UHS Retention Pond, DMUE-658 (2/25/81), Seepage Test and DMUE-628 (7/29/80),
Mapping Report.
2.
UE will submit to NRC one copy of "Bechtel Power Corporation, 1977, UHSRP, soils engineering studies, Callaway Plant, Units 1 and 2, Missouri:
Bechtel Power Corporation, Gaithersburg, Maryland (September). "
3.
UE to transmit to NRC one copy of all material in our files concerning the top portion of che east slope of the UHSRP which was covered with rip rap prior to any mapping by D&M.
4.
UE will submit to NRC settlement plots for February, March, and April, 1981 readings.-
In addition, UE will transmit readings quarterly, as they become available.

UE will provide a more detailed discussion concerning the use of cohesive fill in areas where it was sub-stituted for granular fill and backfill and areas where cohesive fill could not and was not substituted lh0Dl for granular fill and backfill.
i 6.
UE will submit one copy of pictures concerning the IO excavation of the UHSRP including any on the upper portions of the slope on the east half before the rip rap was installed.
The pictures will be numbered, dated, with a description of what the picture shows, l
and a key plan indicating the location and direction of each picture.

UE will provide engineering papers which were used as a reference to determine the coefficient of earth pressure at rest, justifying the use of the factor 0.33.
The above information will be transmitted to you the week of June 1, 1981 for Mr. Gupta.
