We runived your letter of April 30, 1981, and check for $1,400 for an amendment to License SNM-368.
Your request has been classified by the Licensing staff as requiring 3 major safety and environmental amendment, since the review will involve consideration of several safety issues.
Therefore, a major safe ty aiid environmental amendment fee of
$34,600 is required, as specified in fee Category 1 A of Section 170.31 of Part 170, copy enclosed.
Payment of the additional
$33,200 should be made to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and mailed to my attention.
When submitting the fee, please refer to CONTROL NUMBER 19071.
Please note Footnotes 1(d) and 4 of Section 170.31, which pro-vide that upon completion of the licensing review, the Commis-sion will review its expenditures for professional manpower and appropriate support ser vices; recompute the amendment fee, and, if necessary, make any refund.
