V Gentlemen:
Enclosed in their letter dated May 8,1981, Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) sent to us a fully executed indemnification agreement for work to be performed by our contractor, Rockwell Hanford Operations, to inspect and evaluate the high level waste storage system at West Valley. A copy of NFS's letter and the agreement is enclosed.
In your letter dated July 10,1980 to g predecessor, Mr. William J. Dircks, you expressed assurances of your support and cooperation to achieve completion of the inspection and evaluation program. NFS suggests in their letter of May 8 that your pemission should be obtained for Rockwell's ingress and egress to the site and for your cooperation in conducting the activities.
With this letter we are requesting that you, as a co-licensee.:for the West Valley site, reiterate your previous assurance of cooperation and indicate that you have no objection to Rockwell proceeding with the inspection program, i
