Dear Sir:
Pursuant to discussions with your staff on our continuing evaluation of steau generator tube leakage at Trojan, a decision has been made to plug all Row 1 tubes in steam generators "B" and "C" during the upcoming refueling outage beginning on May 1,1981. This decision was predicated upon the increase in leakage from these steam generators subsequent to our April 2, 1981 letter, and the assumption that it is confined to Row 1 tubes.
Identifiable leakage from tubes other than Row 1 may necessitate reevaluation of these plans, of which you will be informed accordingly.
