Docket No. 50-166 *

~~

Dear Mr. Tedesco:

Enclosed please find a revised submittal for the University of Maryland Training Reactor Requalification Program.

It is written so as to incorporate the pertinent items in the June 1980 submittal as well as items 2-6 in your letter of March 25, 1981. It does not require that licensed operators will formally take ENNU-320, Nuclear Reactor Opera-tions,as this course may not be offered as often as desirable due to resource limitations. However, the requirement for attending appropriate lectures and laboratory sessions given by the Reactor Director and/or the Nuclear Engineering Faculty has been included.

I trust that this version is adequate for the completion of the evaluation of our program.

Sincerely yours, f

John S. Toll b l President ,
