Dear Mr. Crow:
A cost estimate and financial security plan for decommissioning of the Montville Plant were furnished by Ref. 2). By Ref. 3), United Nuclear Corporation promised to provide the necessary funds for such decontamination and decommissioning.
I By Ref. 4), United Nuclear requested that the subject licenses be amended to name UNC Naval Products, Inc. as the licensee. UNC Naval Products will initially be a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Nuclear, and subsequently of UNC Resources, Inc. UNC Resources agrees herewith to provide the funds necessary for decontamination so that the facility may be released for unrestricted use.
