I wish to submit for your approval our Reactor Operator Hot License Program which is scheduled for June 1981 through April 1982 and the Senior Reactor Operator Upgrade Program from June 1981 through December 1981.
The Reactor Operator Program will contain twelve individuals who are Auxiliary Operators at Vermont Yankee. They will meet or exceed all reg-ulatory requirements for the position of Control Room Operator. This program is being taught, for the most part, by the Center for Nuclear Studies at Memphis State University. The program will not only meet or exceed all regulatory requirements, but also grant at least twenty-nine credit hours.
The Senior Reactor Operator Upgrade Program will contain three people who presently are holding a Reactor Operato1: License at Vermont Yankee. Their program will be rur in conjunction with CNS/MSU in order to give college credit for our operators.
