This is in response to your letter dated April 3,1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a copy of the NRC Waste Management mailing list.
A set of the labels is enclosed. After the duplicate names were removed from the mailing list, the total names were reduced to 911 instead of the 5,500 names referred to in your letter.
Where a label contained the name and address of an individual, we removed the label from the set of labels, consistent with the decision set forth in Wine Hobby U.S.A.,
Inc. v. I.R.S., 502 F.2d 133 (3d Cir.1974).
The check you forwarded with your April 3 letter in the amount of
$165.00 is returned herewith. Accordingly, the cost for the enclosed document is $27.33.
Please send a check in the amount of $27.33 payable to the "U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission" along with a copy of this letter, to the Director, Division of Rules and Records, MNBB-4210, U. S.
