Enclosed are 15 copies of an application for a special nuclear raterial license for the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant unit 2.
' Ibis application is filed pursuant to the Cccaission's regulations in 10 CFR Part 70 requesting authorization for receipt, possession, and storage of unit 2 assenbled fuel assemblies, the balance of unit 1 fuel (270 assemblies total), and up to 100 loose fuel rods at the Bellefonte Nuclear Plant.
Section 1.2.5 " Access Control" will be marked PPDPRIEIAFI and will be suhaitted under separate cover to:

McCorkle, Chief Physical Security Licensing Branch Division of Safeguards, NMSS U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Ccanission Washington, DC 20555 Fuel delivery to the Bellefonte site is scheduled to begin on or about July 13, 1981; therefore, we request the special nuclear raterial license by July 1, 1981.
In acccrdance with 10 CPR 170.ll(a)3 en amendment fee is not required.
