Dear Mr. Rouse:

This letter confirms the March 31, 1981, telsphone conversation, between John Roberts and David Dunn of our respective staffs, scheduling a meeting on spent fuel storage technology development and licensing.

The meeting has been scheduled for April 22,1981, at 8:30 a.m. in the fifth floor conference room of the Willste Building, in Silver Spring, Maryland. In the meeting we will address the spent fuel management activities being considered by TVA, and the potential licensing considerations of each. These developmental activities would overlap into the area of shipping cask. certification and the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant license, therefore, we request that NRC personnel who are capable of addressing these issues please atteed.

  • A tentative agenda is enclosed as requested.

With the number of topics scheduled for discussion, we assume the meeting will last most of the day.

(

The agenda is structured in an atte@t to allow NRC support personnel to l

attend as responsibility dictates.

Mr. Dunn will serve as the coordinator for TVA with regant to this meeting.

Any questions you may have should ye dir, ected to him at FTS 857-3331 in Chattanooga.

Very truly yours, TENNESEE VALLEI AUTHORITY 7
