Please provide a discussion of these items as they affect the efficacy of your emergency plan, taking into account the fact that Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50 sets forth requirements for nuclear power plants.
- 1) -Identification, by position and function to be performed, the person (s) '
within your organization who will be responsible for makitig offsite dose projections.

- 2) The use of a message authentication scheme.

- 3) The need to notify responsible State and local governmental agencies within 15 minutes or some other suitable period of time after declaring an emergency (Re: IV.D.3)
- 4) Identification of the location of the technical support ' center.
(Re:IV.E.8)
- 5) The need for and location of the near-site emergency operations facility and the offsite communications system and the dependability of the offsite communications system, if necessary.
- 6) Please affirm that all non-employees who may assist in a radiological emergency participate in training and drills at least annually.
