Response to R. L. Tedesco Letter of November 25, 1980 Requesting Information on Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment This letter provides schedul'ar information with respect to the qualification of safety-related electrical equip-ment for Fermi 2.
The information is submitted in response to your letter of November 25, 1980 and to a February 21, 1980 letter from Mr. D. F.
Ross, formerly of the NRC Divi-sion of Project Management, and a March 13, 1981 letter from Harold Denton to Walter J. McCarthy, Jr.
Based on a fuel load date of November, 1982, the following schedule has been established:
o April 30, 1981:
Completion of the Fermi 2 safety-related electrical component list, including environmental qualification status.
e May 31, 1982:
Completion of the qualification program to upgrade or requalify components found inadequate to meet the requirements of NUREG-0588, " Interim Staff Position on Environ-mental Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment".
