Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
In the reference letter, PSC committed to a completion date of February 1, 1981 for the work of reinforcing those walls which require additional strength to withstand a seismic event.
The scheduled completion date to reinforce the walls is now March 13, 1981.
The reason for the delay is due to a late start in beginning the work and in delays of obtaining the required materials.
To date, all work on Class I walls that required reinforcing in the turbine building has been completed.
Work is now scheduled to begin on reinforcing the required Class I masonry block walls in the reactor building.
Overall, the project is estimated to be 60%
complete.
