gg This is in reply to your March 19, 1981 letter regarding your request that we make Jay Maynard available to the Office of Federal Procurement Policy to work on legislative changes needeo to establish a uniform system of procurement.
I understand that Bill Dircks, our Executive Director, and Donald E.
Sowle have discussed the loan and have reached agreement on Mr. Maynard's detail to 02.
I appreciate your acknowledging our very difficult personnel resources problem here at the Commission, but because of the importance attached to the work to be done by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy and the need for reforms in this area, we agree that the best interests of the government would be served by his short-term detail to OMB.
