Dear Ms. Krol:
This will confirm your telephone conversation with Sandra Schlosser of this office on April 16, 1981, at which time Ms. Schlosser told you that we were officially closing the local public document room (LPDR) for the proposed Montague Nuclear Power Plants. As you know, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company has cancelled plans to build the plants.
As Ms. Schlosser discussed with you, we do not need to have the Montague material returned to us as the official file copy is being retained by the Office of Administration here in our Bethesda, Maryland, offices.
Please feel free to keep any or all of the LPDR document collection. However, you may decide not to retain any LPDR material and, if that is the case, the documents may be disposed of.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the staff of The Car egie Library for your help over the past years with the local public document rc:1 collection; you have olayed an important part in our program.
