Committee agreed that a summary of Actions, Agreements, Assignments, and ;!equests made during each full Committee meeting will be sent to the NRC Staff following each meeting.
Attached in response to this agreement is a summary for the 2a9th ACRS meeting.
This list has the concurrence of the ACRS Chairman and designated ACRS members as will all future lists provided for follcw-up purposes.
Those items in the " Actions, Agreements, Assignments, and Requests" that do not deal with requests made of the NRC Staff or that are not pertinent to NRC Staff activities have been deleted.
Please note the appearance of a series of numbers on this docuNnt.The numbers will identify the "ACRS requests" to the NRC Staff, and are being used by the ACRS Office as control numbers to these requests. We would find it helpful if the M Staff would use these numbers to identify their responses to these Questions regarding this system can be addressed to J. M. Jacobs, re:uests.

During discussions related to the NRC's Reactor Safety Research Program, L. Shao, NRC Staff, agreed to provide to the Committee with information regarding the status of research efforts and programs relating to water hamner in nuclear power plants.

During the discussion of the Sequoyah sta-tup program, the NRC Staff noted that some corrosion was found on the containment vacuum breaker valves.
J. C. Ebersole questioned the reliability of the valves used for this function; the NRC Staff agreed to compare the reliability of th9se valves with safety grade valves (e.g., pressure relief valves) and respond in
