LQA8100151 April 13, 1981 Mr. Thomas M. Novak Assistant Director for Operating Reactors Division of Licensing U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Cor::nission Washington, DC 20555 Subj ect: Environmental Qualificaton of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment
Dear Mr. Novak:
In your letter of March 27, 1981 you requested Nebraska Public Power District to review the identified deficiencies contained in the staff's preliminary evaluation of our response to IE Bulletin 79-01B and to provide an overall finding regarding continued safe operation of Cooper Nuclear Station.
Our review of the staff's preliminary list of deficiencies has sub-stantiated the assertion made in our revision 1 response submitted January 29, 1981 that continued safe operation of CNS is assured.
This finding is true to my best knowledge and belief.
Sincerely, W.
