Enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 4986, Revision No. 10 for the Model Nos. RA-1, RA-2, RA-3, and RA-J shipping containers.

This certificate supersedes Certificate No. 4986, Revision No. 9, dated Decetaber 19, 1980.

Changes made to the er. closed certificate are indicated by vertical lines in the raargin.

Those on the attached list have been registered as users of these packages under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 671.12(b) or 49 CFR 9173.393a.

This approval constitutes authority to use these packages for shipment of radioactive materiai and for the packages to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR gl73.393a.

The certificate has been renewed until October 31, 1981.

In order to renew the packaging beyond this date, please (1) show all dimensions, welds, fasteners, and materials of construction important to safety on the consolidated drawings, and (2) take 1 % account the water spray test (971.35) on the outer wood (long term) and piastic and paper honeycomb impact limiters.
