Dear.Mr. Gordon:
This letter is to clarify the Audit section of our Quality Assurance Program in compliance with 10CFR971.51, as per our phone conversation of March 10, 1981.
The Program Administrator is responsible for conducting audits of the Quality Assurance Program.
The individual holding this position has no direct responsibility for the Quelity Assurance Program other tnan the audit function and personnel administration.
The subtitle of Assistant Radiation Safety Officer given this position, as outlined in our license, is to allcw this individual to assist the Radiation Safety Officer when needed with personnel training, record keeping, and emergency situations.
No responsibility or authority for the Quality Assurance ?regram or its activities has been assigned to this position.
The Program Administrator will conduct an audit of all Quality Assurance Program activities on a scheduled basis a minimum of once per year.
All audits will he conducted with the use of a written checklist.
