Dear Mr. Rawl:
By application dated October 30, 1980, Technical Operations, Inc., requested a Certificate of Compliance for the Model No. 850 package. The application also requested that the package design be issued an IAEA Certificate of Competent Authority as a Type B(U) package.
Based upon our review of the application, we have concluded that the package (Model No. 850) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9147 meets the requirements for Type B(U) packages.
