Dear Mr. Tedesco:
In response to your request for additional infor:ation dated March 20, 1981, we provide the following infor=ation.
The Ferry Fire Protection Evaluation Report (tra:t) was originally submitted on Septe=ber 26, 1977 and Revision 1 to the report on January 28, 1981. The FFER describes the detailed design as of Dece=ber 1979, which conforns to the intent of.the guidelines in BIP-APCSB 9.5-1, Appendix A.
Included is a fire ha::ards annlysis which evaluates the potential adverse effects of a fire on the ability to safely shut down the plant. Also provided in the report are layout drawings which show the safe shut down equip =ent and cabling, fire barriers and fire suppression equip =ent.
The specific information you requested w.ll be tabulated for inclusion in the next revision of the FFin.
