UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-334 DUQUESNE LIGHT COMPANY OHIO EDISON COMPANY PENNSYLVANIA POWER COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Comission) has issued Amendment No. 41 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-66 issued to Duquesne Light Company, Ohio Edison Company, and Pennsylvania Power Company (the licensees), which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit No.1 (the facility) located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment revises the Technical Specifications to change the Low-Low Steam Generator Level Reactor Setpoint from 10% to 12%.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's ri
and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules ana regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the licence amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required s'ince this amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.-
The. Commission has detemined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 151.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and 8 t0401076
e 7590-01 4 environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
