Dear Mr. Rawl:
By application dated August 1,1980, Technical Operations, Inc., requested a' Certificate of Compliance for the Model No. 920 package. The application also requested that the package design be issued an IAEA Cer'.ificate of Competent Authority as a Type B(U) package.
Based upon our review of the application, we have concluded that the package (Model No. 920) authorized by NRC Certificate of Compliance No. 9143 meets the requirements for Type B(U) packages.
