It is requested that License SNM-1067 be renewed for a period of five years.
Ten copies of Combustion Engineering's license renewal application are en-closed for your review. About six months ago, a preliminary outlige_of a futura Draf t Regulatory Guide concerning acceptable standard format and con-tent for the Health and Safety sections of renewal applications for uranium fuel, fabrication plants was provided by Mr. N. Ketzlach of your staff. Sub-sequent to that time, a much more detailed Draft Regulatory Guide was pre-pared, but not released for comment. Our enclosed renewal application is in the format of this more recent guide.
We just recently received the Draft Regulatory Guide and Value/ Impact State-ment which was issued for comment in October 1980 and have noticed very few changes have been made. Thus, every effort has been made to assure a sub-mittal which reflects the latest format and content desired by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensing staff.
