As you know from our telephone conversation of October 17, 1980, the encounter between a nearby resident to the West Valley site and an individual claiming to be a guard employed at the site was investigated by the inspector assigned to the West Valley facility and found to be an apparent hoax. At the request of the nearby resident, the issue is considered closed. Should you desire to contact the inspector directly, please contact:
