- al re-spense to IE Eulletin No BC-C6 dated March 13, 1980. That respense provided the results of cur deccentation review and indicated that verification tests vould be perfor=ed during the next refueling cutage (ie, 1930-51 Eefueling Cutage).
The verification tests have been perfomed and dec=ented.

Cn February 2, 1961, a discussion with Mr W Paulsen of the NRC - NER cecurred in which certain clari'ications to our initial response vere made. Per Mr W Faulson's requesu, the following NEC questions and cur responses to ther are provided:

Respense: The valves vill auto =atically open and stay open until the vacuu= signal goes below setpoint (1 psig negative - FHSR section 3.5.2.3).
During pcver operation or refueling operation the valves vill auto =atically close on reactor scra signals or on a high radiation signal from either of the two ares monitors on the refueling deck.
During shutdown
. (mode -switch in shutdown) the valves vill aute ati-cally' close on reactor lov level or contain=ent high pressure cn on either of the two high radiation signals from the refueling deck-area conitors.
. An error 'has been identified in our response dated-June 25, 1980.
It involves

l CONSU!ERS POWER COMPANY Big Rock Point Plant IE Bulletin No 80-06 Docket No 50-155 License No DPR-6 At the request of the Commission and pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 195k, and the Energy Reorganization Act of 197h, as amended and the Commission's Rules and Regulations thereunder, Consumers Power Company submits a supplemental response to IE Bulletin No 80-06, dated March 13, 1980, entitled,
" Engineered Safety Feature (ESP) Reset Controls".
Consumers Power Company's supplemental response is dated March 11, 1981.
